We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Administration Officer to join our Brisbane team.
Your main duties will include: Liaising with external stakeholders, such as the NDIA and plan managers, to resolve invoicing and payment queriesManage Accounts Receivable transactions, including reconciling weekly NDIS Claims invoices and service claimsFollow up overdue account collections and liaise with stakeholders for accurate information processingReconcile banking entries daily and produce reports for senior managementSupport month-end close procedures and assist with purchase invoice processing during peak timesProcess and record accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate mannerConfirm all necessary approvals are obtained prior to processing payments, upholding financial integrity.Work closely with internal teams and external customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth financial operations. Assist with any internal and external audit recommendations relating to billing and receivables.Providing administrative support, such as managing office suppliesSupporting the broader team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required What We're Looking for 2+ years experience in a finance related roleExperience within the home care, disability or aged care services or health care sectors is highly desirableHigh level attention to detail, friendly and professional phone manner, and strong organisational and prioritisation skillsDemonstrated skills and experience in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel), including intermediate excel skills (as a minimum)Strong communication skills to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholdersPrior experience with Xero accounting platform and demonstrated exposure to various online business portals.A positive and proactive team player who can work onsite in West End, Brisbane If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you !
