Job Title: Finance and Administration Officer

Job Purpose You will be responsible for managing the finance and administration functions, ensuring accurate and timely updating of the accounts for invoices payable and receivable, coding these to the appropriate accounts, and reconciling with the bank account. This will include ensuring that customer and supplier information is correct in Xero Accounting Software and maintaining daily reconciliation of all transactions in Xero. In addition to finance, the role will include managing administration tasks such as office management, staff travel bookings, and office purchases. The role will suit someone who is highly organised, able to prioritise tasks, and has attention to detail.
What Success Looks Like: Finance Monitoring and organising the accounts email inbox daily Entering and coding invoices payable in Xero as they are received Issuing invoices receivable to customers, working with the Client Services team Receipting customer purchase orders and entering in Xero Chasing up debtor payments, working with the Client Services team Making sure that customer and supplier data in Xero is accurate and up to date Daily reconciliation of transactions in Xero Managing corporate purchase cards Assisting with ATO and other regulatory submissions including BAS and payroll tax Assisting with daily cash report Assistance with generating financial reports and data entry to create reports Office Administration Administration of Staff travel bookings Office management duties such as managing office supplies and office repairs Assisting with preparation of Board Meeting pack, organizing Board meetings and taking meeting minutes Assisting with insurance policy and vehicle renewals and form preparation, liaising with insurance broker Maintenance of the company risk and compliance register Assist in onboarding employees in booking Medical Appointments, Employment History Verification and ordering Welcome Packs Organising events such as company lunches and celebrations Knowledge and Experience Extensive experience in Xero Accounting software Proven experience as a Finance Administrator or similar role Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office software Ability to multitask and prioritise projects and tasks effectively Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Accounting qualifications is highly desirable What we care about: At WV Technologies, we believe in making the right decisions for the right reasons.
