About this role The Finance Analyst is a key role in the Treasury Reporting Team and plays a key part in maintaining a great relationship between NSW Health and NSW Treasury. The role is responsible for reviewing financial information (actual, forecast, and budget) and investigating anomalies. As a Financial Analyst, you will have great time management skills to ensure the team meets its reporting deadlines and stakeholder management skills to liaise with NSW Treasury and NSW Health finance staff.
Salary Crown Clerk 7 / 8, starting salary from $106,025 - $117,363 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.
What you'll be doing The Finance Analyst is responsible for the preparation of monthly submissions to NSW Treasury for the State Revenues - Ministry of Health agency, including budgets, actuals, projections, and forward estimates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with NSW Treasury policies and guidelines. You will also conduct revenue assessments for all Commonwealth Federal Funding Agreements, playing a key role in maintaining data quality and supporting effective financial reporting.
About you We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant financial discipline and/or demonstrated experience. Experience with the NSW Treasury Prime reporting system. The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. The ability to work in a small dynamic team environment.
