The role: As the Strategy and Insights Lead, you will work in the Integrated Marketing Department, reporting to the Integrated Marketing Director. You will develop strategic marketing concepts and proposals and contribute to the develop of client programs.
You will use your strong knowledge of popular culture and consumer trends, your proven strategic thinking, and your creative storytelling techniques to communicate a data driven narrative that will compel brands to partner with Live Nation.
You will lead the development of research and insights and position Live Nation as experts in audience insights and consumer behaviour. You will use data to make strategic recommendations and develop marketing campaigns and programs for brand partners.
Key responsibilities: Month end Data handling and reviewing key data metrics such as total show attendance, events, headcount and show profitability and loading data metrics to BPC system. It includes commentary of variances arising from current forecast and annual Budget.Prepare divisional sponsorship and intercompany elimination entriesReview market results to understand variances between actuals and forecast, working with local finance heads as requiredPrepare AOI summary by market to provide senior management with an overview of major variances to forecast in the month Detailed review of market balance sheets for correct accounting treatments.Tie back of market balance sheets to balance sheet reconciliations and review of those reconciliations to ensure controls are followedMonthly forecast and annual budget Review monthly market forecast submissions to understand forecast vs. prior forecast variances.Work with local finance heads to ensure monthly forecast submissions loaded to BPC system accurately and on a timely basisReconciliation of BPC data back to market forecast submissions Prepare key US forecast deliverables and ensuring all reporting deadlines are metOther Preparation of weekly ticket sales reports and bi-weekly festival sales reports Responsible for the management of the talent ID database, ensuring this database is up to date where support and planning team is aware of any artist or band to include.Provide assistance to local finance heads on a range of issues from accounting advice to financial systems supportLiaise with APAC finance teams to ensure information is presented in an effective manner and deadlines are metOther ad hoc analysis projects as requiredAbout you/requirements CA or CPA qualifiedExperience in accounting and reporting (ideally in large corporate / multinational)Excellent excel and data management skillsBPC/ Oracle exposure preferred but not essential What do we offer?
