This role is a salary Clerk Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $110,266 - $122,058 base plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.Join INSW and play your part in creating a sustainable infrastructure legacy for NSW!About the RoleThe Finance Analyst is a key role in the Financial Planning Analysis (FPA) team within INSW and is responsible for providing detailed financial analysis, planning, financial governance, and decision support to key stakeholders.The role is responsible for the preparation of monthly management reports, maintaining the staff resource model, provide financial information for budgeting and forecasting purposes and the monthly upload of financial information into PRIME.Some of the key accountabilities for the role include:Assists in the coordination and maintenance of INSW wide budgeting processes, financial reviews, monitoring, and analysis including commentary and advice to meet organisational needs and statutory requirements.Work with the Finance Manager and the budget owners to ensure budgets reflect divisional plans and remain within budget allocation.Prepare submissions for NSW Treasury into PRIME regarding INSW budget and appropriations, including policy proposals, enhanced funding proposals, forward estimates, monthly reporting, and various financial matters.Ensure that data integrity is maintained between PRIME and the internal accounting system and provide guidance and explanation when variations exist.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or accounting.CA/CPA equivalent.Demonstrable experience in management accounting and financial analysis, reporting and budgeting.Ability to communicate effectively and interact with stakeholders.Highly developed Microsoft Excel skill.Experience with the Treasury PRIME system.If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
