About the Opportunity We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our team, based at our manufacturing site in Darnum.
Reporting to Finance Manager Operations & Darnum, this highly varied and fast-paced role will see you be the primary Finance contact for the Darnum factory.
This is an incredible opportunity for a recent Graduate to begin their career, or someone in the early stages looking for an opportunity to join a leading, global dairy organisation.
As the Finance Analyst, you will be provided with training and support to see you responsible for accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and costing services in accordance with the company accounting timetable and reporting requirements.
You will ensure that all local and corporate reporting requirements meet deadlines and that the various departments/functions on site are conversant with the accounting systems, policies and procedures, budget and forecast tasks for their areas of responsibility.
This role will also see you provide commercial support to site teams to ensure the accuracy of product costs for products produced.
You will also: Support and ensure commercial rigor around new projects/initiatives.
Apply standard Performance KPI's that can be articulated at an operational level to align performance measures with business outcomes.
Support the Darnum Operations teams in embedding core internal controls and compliance and the establishment of appropriate governance and management systems.
Review weekly and monthly performance against key measures.
Produce monthly performance reports with meaningful and insightful commentary.
About You Critical to your success in this role will be your attention to detail, teamed with your ability to assimilate and analyse complex information.
You will demonstrate a strong financial acumen, understanding and applying key financial indicators to make better business decisions.
You will have a customer centric focus and the proven ability to build strong relationships, both internally and externally.
You will also have: Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commercial or financial management or other relevant discipline.
CA/CPA is preferred or working towards.
Strong Excel modelling and written skills.
SAP systems or other financial systems background advantageous.
