Managing and maintaining financial records, including general ledger accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statements and responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of the Pinnacle Wine Services results to ensure accuracy and compliance.Job DescriptionHere is a taster of what you can expect in this role:Drive and deliver the month-end process for Pinnacle Wine Services entities.Identify and effectively report balance sheet risk through the monthly preparation of general ledger reconciliations and drive improvements across the group.Undertake internal control testing and compile information for internal and external auditors, including explanation of movements in key accounts.Maintain documented controls and process flows to identify efficiencies and meet internal control requirements.Assist with preparation and analysis of the annual operating expense and capital budgets.Leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI to drive efficiencies.Proactive business partnering with Pinnacle and Endeavour Group finance teams to assist in providing details around financial information.QualificationsNow let's talk about you:Minimum of 5-7 years relevant experienceDegree qualification and CA/CPA.Good systems skills - D365, ERP, BI & Advanced Excel capabilityStrategic and commercial thinkerStrong business partnering skillsAbility to work with multiple stakeholders including senior leadership membersAbility to remain focused under pressure and prioritise accordinglyStrong written and verbal communication and influencing skillsCommercial Insight - Analysis & InsightsProactively contribute and drive towards a culture of continuous improvementRetail or drinks industry experience desirableAdditional InformationThe benefits are good too!We offer flexible working in every senseAn exclusive discount card for BWS, Dan Murphy's, Woolworths, BIG W and other Endeavour Group brands, including our ALH pubsMonthly meeting-free daysYour health and wellbeing is your most important asset, and as one of our valued team members, it's our first priority.
