Our Career Opportunity Bailey Abbott now have a newly created opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join our Operations team.
This full-time, permanent position is based at our Greenhill Road office.
However, we are open to considering a part-time arrangement for the ideal candidate who can reliably manage key financial tasks, including payroll and invoicing.
Working as a Finance Administrator you will get the opportunity to: Manage Accounts inboxes and action incoming email items Manage and maintain Chart of Accounts across Xero instances Respond to finance queries in a timely manner and provide assistance to both internal and external stakeholders Check supplier invoices and reimbursement claims for accuracy, appropriateness and correct Xero coding Enter all supplier invoices and reimbursement claims into Xero, prepare weekly AP payment runs and maintain appropriate documentation to support all transactions Issue client invoices from Avaza in accordance with verified contracts Check client invoices for accuracy, appropriateness and authorisation prior to issuing Prepare fortnightly pay-runs for permanent, casual and contract employees Maintain cashflow forecast trackers incorporating salary, PAYG, payroll tax and GST liabilities Process manual journals for employee salary, bonus and leave entitlement accruals Prepare month-end finance reports for Managing Directors Prepare consolidated financial reports for Executive Management and Board members Requirements Your skills and experience includes: Demonstrated experience in a Finance role Degree or certification in a Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field Knowledge of accounting software (preferably Xero) Benefits REWARDS Paid Birthday Leave Access to Employee Assistance Program Flexible Working Options Novated Leasing Regular team gatherings including monthly team lunch Professional development opportunities and continuous learning Financial benefits through Discount Store Our clients are diverse and so are we.
