Purpose of the Role The Finance and Administration Officer is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and providing administrative support to the Operations and Finance Manager to ensure efficient operations within the organisation. They will act as the first point of contact for all related queries, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, office supply, administration and facilities management.
Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for corporate operations, answering employee queries and escalating where needed. Support the Operations and Finance Manager with processing payroll, audits and financial reviews. Process accounts payable and receivable Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Manage the procurement and coordination of all office supplies. Assist with the coordination and management of organisational service agreements and procurement contracts. Manage office facilities, including security and maintenance. Provide administrative support to the Operations team including filing, data entry, and correspondence when needed. Assist with Corporate Operations projects as required.? Assist with ad hoc requests from CEO and Directors. Skills & Experience At least 2 years' experience in a hands-on finance operations/administration role. Highly desirable: relevant qualifications in finance and/or business administration. Advanced skills in accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements. High level attention to detail and ensuring accuracy in financial records and transactions. Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports. Strong time management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Maintaining the confidentiality of financial information and sensitive data. Further informationThe position is a 2 year contract. Salary range: $80,000 to 90,000 per annum plus Superannuation dependent on skills & experience.
