Due to growth, they currently require a proactive Finance/Administration Manager to be accountable and oversee all day-to-day functions within the Finance and Administration team.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will involve the following:
Key Responsibilities: Manage financial operations, ensuring company policies, accounting standards, and tax obligations are met.Lead and manage a small accounts and administration team.Review and analyze monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow against budgets and forecasts.Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.Create and implement effective SOPs.Prepare and present management reports, offering financial insights to Executive management.Continuously improve financial reporting processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.Continuously improve administration processes where required.Your Background: Proven experience in managing financial, accounting, and administration functions.Positive, effective leadership skills - min.
5 years.A minimum of 6 years in a similar role.Experience with accounting software (MYOB).Advanced Excel skills.Proven experience in implementing effective processes and procedures.Ability to create financial reports.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experienced in BAS preparation and lodgement.A manufacturing or FMCG background is highly desirable but not essential.This role is required onsite five days a week and involves a diverse range of responsibilities.
