This isn't just about finance and administrative tasks; it's an opportunity to shape the efficiency, transparency, and compliance of our organisation.Your data entry, administration and customer service skills are prized assets that will be fostered. In this role, you'll provide outstanding support to internal and external stakeholders, making a significant impact beyond administrative tasks. Your role will include some of the following responsibilities:CreditorsDebtorsPayrollGovernanceOther day to day administrative and finance tasksAn attractive salary package is on offer depending on qualifications and experience as per the following outline:· Base 76 hours per fortnight plus TOIL provisions.· Full time annual salary $61,600 - $67,000 per annum. Range depends on qualifications and experience.· Council provides superannuation at 11.5% plus a voluntary Council co-contribution up to 5%.· An unfurnished, modern, air-conditioned residence is available for the position.· The Shire meets all costs associated with power, water and gas utilities. Home internet services with an allocation of data and Foxtel services at a reduced cost also form part of the package. A free freight service from Geraldton operates weekly.The Murchison Shire has an active community garden, museum, events calendar and sports club.
