Finance Admin Officer

Finance Officer NSW State Government $55 per hour + Super 6 months contract CBD + WFH
About the role:
• Answer queries, collect feedback and provide advice to business partners, internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare and update finance documentation, including finance processes and procedures
• Undertake and complete financial reporting requirements as required
• Handle day-to-day duties, including but not limited to the following outcomes:
• Coding processing and recording of journals, expenses and revenues is accurate, timely and compliant with legislative and departmental requirements
• Reconciliation of various bank and general ledger accounts such as accruals, prepayments, clearing accounts and ensuring other current asset and liability accounts are up to date
• Reporting is timely, meaningful, and accurate
Essentials & Requirements SAP ERP system and NSW Government experience are desirable Experience in invoicing, reconciliationand knowledge of accounting concepts and principles, including strong administration skills Personal attributes: Good communication skills; flexible team player Ability to work in an environment with tight daily deadlines that require strong attention to detail and accuracy How to Apply
