Job Summary:

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative and financial support to RAMS contracts. This involves working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project and contract deliverables are achieved. Key tasks include managing the contract accounts payable and receivable, ensuring month-end deadlines are achieved.


Key Responsibilities: Manage communication channels, such as phone calls and emails.Customer service.Maintain filing systems and ensure the proper retention, protection, and disposal of records.Perform onsite & offsite administrative support to client contract.Collate invoices, process purchase orders and complete data entry into accounting database.Review and analyze work in progress.Contract customer invoicing, ensuring all supporting documentation & approvals are collated and submitted.Submission of customer invoices into client portal [epayables/fieldglass].Contract timesheet management.Accounts payable statement reconciliation.Skills and Experiences: SELECTION CRITERIA: ESSENTIALS: Appropriate interpersonal, oral and written skills. Knowledge of basic conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Excellent knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel.Knowledge of, and experience using various Accounting software.Good organizational skills, work ethic and personal initiative.Ability to develop strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work without supervision in a small team.Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize whilst always representing business objectives and to meet timeframes.Knowledge of administrative and financial procedures and protocols.Attention to detail.Ability to work on tight deadlines.Follow the instructions, direction and procedures for safe and environmentally sustainable work practices.Current Northern Territory Drivers Licence.Certificate in Business or equivalent.DESIRABLE: Knowledge of, and experience in computer applications, in particular Sybiz & Filemaker.An understanding of the asset maintenance or construction industry would be an advantage.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply.
