Finance & Accounting Officer

Our Agricultural and Bloodstock client is looking for a Finance & Accounting Officer to join their team in the Upper Hunter Valley.

What you will do: Assist with maintenance of the general ledger and prepare month end reconciliations Bank reconciliations and banking Credit card management and reporting Preparation of statutory obligations such as BAS, IAS and FBT Preparation of inventory reconciliations Review coding for Accounts Payable Provide holiday relief for Accounts Payable Assist with collation of audit documentation What you bring to the role: Minimum 5 years relevant experience Experience with Sage 300 (advantageous) Experience with BAS and FBT compliance Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail Proficiency in using Microsoft Office/365, in particular, Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Agricultural background/experience (advantageous) Benefits include: A supportive and inclusive work culture A structured hand-over (incumbent is relocating) Free gym (on-site) If you are a motivated and proactive individual with a passion for numbers and bloodstock/agriculture, we'd love to hear from you.
