Finance & Accounting Officer

Our Agricultural and Bloodstock client is looking for a Finance & Accounting Officer to join their team in the Upper Hunter Valley.If you are passionate about numbers and bloodstock/agriculture, thrive in a dynamic work environment in addition to having a positive "can do" attitude we want you on our team!What you will do:Assist with maintenance of the general ledger and prepare month end reconciliationsBank reconciliations and bankingCredit card management and reportingPreparation of statutory obligations such as BAS, IAS and FBTPreparation of inventory reconciliationsReview coding for Accounts PayableProvide holiday relief for Accounts PayableAssist with collation of audit documentationWhat you bring to the role:Minimum 5 years relevant experienceExperience with Sage 300 (advantageous)Experience with BAS and FBT complianceStrong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detailProficiency in using Microsoft Office/365, in particular, Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentAgricultural background/experience (advantageous)Benefits include:A supportive and inclusive work cultureA structured hand-over (incumbent is relocating)Free gym (on-site)If you are a motivated and proactive individual with a passion for numbers and bloodstock/agriculture, we'd love to hear from you.Please submit your resume and cover letter to ******
