We are looking for Supervisors to work on a 2/1 FIFO roster with a genuine interest to positively influence construction crews and promote a memorable culture, to join our project team on an FRP project located near Karratha in WA.
As a Supervisor, you will be accountable for the following: Support the Project management to champion a culture of high performance onsiteDemonstrate strong and visible supervisor skills through your behaviours, effective communication and interpersonal skillsProvide input into the manning schedule to ensure adequately skilled and qualified candidates are planned for the project and take lead on the technical aspects of the job requirements during interviewsEnsure agreed work program requirements are met for each component of the project and report variances to Senior Project ManagerSupport the Construction Manager, Superintendent and Engineers to formulate, review and monitor work program(s) and programs for each section of work to be completedMonitor costs within your remit, particularly direct costs of plant and labour ensuring optimisation of available resourcesEffective communication, information flows, procedures and records necessary to facilitate delivery of contract and quality requirementsYou will have the following: Demonstrated experience as a Formwork and or Concrete Supervisor with a Civil contractor on an FRP project.Be WA basedDemonstrated experience working in a FIFO/DIDO capacityExcellent planning, monitoring and documentation skillsDemonstrated safety and environmental behaviourSelf-starter, with well-developed organisational and stakeholder management skillsPrior experience managing direct labour, subcontractors and plant crewsExcellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to problem solveWhat we offer: Competitive salary package plus 30% site uplift plus superWeekly payTraining and Development opportunitiesWork amongst engaged leaders and collaborative teamsHigh-performance supportive HSE culture whereby we "Keep our Mates Safe"Paid Parental LeaveNovated Lease optionLong term permanent role and the opportunity to work on a range of projects across AustraliaWhittens is committed to workplace diversity.
