What we are looking for DGA has been awarded a long term contract with a Tier 1 mining company, helping provide earthworks operational support on-site in the Newman area.
With current works we are seeking a competent mobile plant operator that can train individuals that are new to the industry to become skilled mobile plant operators. Ideally you will have extensive bulk earthworks experience and be able to operate multiple machines, including Watercart Excavator, Loader and Skid Steer.
Rosters will be FIFO 8 days on, 6 days off from Perth to Newman
Duties will include:
Training a group of 10-15 individuals that are new to industryWorking on a civil maintenance project as a plant operatorTeaching workers how to operate machines safely and efficientlyMultiskilled operators are highly sought after
Requirements for this Role We are seeking experienced candidates with the following skills, experience and qualities:
