Whittens is an Australian owned and operated multidisciplined civil construction company, proudly offering over 23 years' experience throughout Western Australia, New South Wales, and Queensland.Our mission, as an agile and people centric business, is to be the market leader in civil contracting, achieving sustainable growth through high performing people who safely deliver successful project outcomes for their clients.Your OpportunityWe are growing and currently looking for a Civil Engineer with experience with FRP construction projects to join our team as a Site Engineer working on a 2/1 FIFO roster to our project site in WA.Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to provide engineering support services, enabling the project to be delivered safely, profitably and in accordance with the client's contractual, technical and quality requirements.As The Site Engineer, You Will Be Accountable For: Provide engineering support for the FRP scope of work, specifications, work plans and drawings.Implement work programs for allocated work packages.Coordinate use of equipment and materials, and ensure compliance.Perform QA/QC inspections and duties as defined in the project quality plan and related procedures.Ensure familiarity with the quality assurance manual, procedures, ITPs, test methods & reporting requirements.Prepare internal ITPs, forms & checklists for approval by our Client.To be successful, you will have the following:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.At least 2 years' experience working in a FIFO/Site Engineering role.FRP project experience with a contractor.Adaptable and ability to work as part of a diverse team on site.Based in WA.What we offer:Whittens are committed to investing in our people, offering learning and development opportunities to build on the skills and experience you bring.
