Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, we currently have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our project team working on a large infrastructure project in remote NSW. The scope of works includes the construction of underground concrete structures and associated civil works working on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
As The Project Engineer, You Will Be Accountable For: Interpret specifications, draft and maintain drawings and plans, construction methods and procedures. Comprehensively understand the scope of work, specifications, work plans and drawings and advise on best engineering solutions to meet project needs and budget. Create work programs for allocated work packages. Manage, in conjunction with the wider team, the scope of work, equipment and materials, and ensure compliance. Identify variations in work packages and submit a list for review. Ensure the requirements of the quality management plan are effectively implemented to meet project requirements. Ensure familiarity of team members with the quality assurance manual, procedures, ITPs, test methods & reporting requirements. Prepare and review internal ITPs, forms & checklists for approval by Client. About You: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Post Graduate qualifications advantageous). Demonstrated experience working in a FIFO capacity preferred with a Contractor. Underground concrete structures specialist with experience on concrete tunnel lining projects is a MUST. Experience with tunnel lining using DOKA or TFI travelling formwork systems. Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring project teams. Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
