FIFO Plumber for Resi & Commercial maintenance on a remote mine & accommodation village in South Australia FIFO Plumber Plumber required for FIFO work conducting maintenance work on a remote camp site in South Australia Your new company Hays have an opportunity for experienced Plumber to join our pool of staff to work on a remote camp site in South Australia. Your new role We are currently looking for a qualified candidate who is available for at least the next 3 months on a 2 week on 1 week off swing, with there also being the opportunity to extend past this point. This role will see you attending to general maintenance where you will independently triage and manage all plumbing works across the entire mine site village including offices, accommodation blocks and kitchens. You will be skilled in emergency breakdown works and project planning for small installations. Proven knowledge for works including Gas, Water, Sanitary, Wastewater treatment, Water purification and preventative maintenance will be essential. All flights are paid for to get you to site from Adelaide Airport and while you are away all accommodation and food is also covered. While on site you will also have access to facilities such as swimming pool and gymnasium. What you'll need to succeed You must be a qualified Plumber with a current South Australia licence preferably with a Gas fitting workers registration. You will also need to hold a White Card and a current Drivers Licence is essential, you will also need to provide a national police clearance (no more than 6 months old). The successful candidate must be able to undergo a thorough full pre-employment medical including instant drug and alcohol screening and must be able to complete several online inductions before flying to site. This role requires you to fly out of Adelaide so will best suit candidates that live locally in South Australia and only candidates based in South Australia will be considered.
