Adhoc & Ongoing Opportunities Available Long-term Project Oil & Gas Industry Baseline Onsite has been providing Security, Medical, Rescue and Safety services to the mining, marine and energy industries since 2010.
Our personnel are made up of industry professionals who understand the challenges of remote area work and the importance of maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Registered Paramedics to work with one of our major clients on adhoc/relief or ongoing opportunities within the Oil & Gas Industry.
Your core duties will include, but not limited to – Full site paramedic remit Assisting with the daily management of site medicals centres in conjunction with Doctors and Nurses Emergency Response / Retrievals on remote sites Drug and Alcohol & Hydration testing (FFW, Fc) Inspecting, calibrating & maintaining medical equipment, facilities, vehicles and consumables Completing relevant tasks with injury management and health monitoring Assisting with duties related to the Fitness for Work Management Plan Essential requirements – Degree / Diploma in Paramedical Science.
A minimum of 5 years' relevant and recent work experience (i.e.
Emergency Department/Intensive Care/Trauma Unit/Remote Medicine) Proven industrial and remote experience Valid AHPRA Registration with nil restriction Current CPR Certificate – issued in the last 12 months Current Advanced Life Support Certificate A minimum of 20 hours CPD completed in the last 12 months Early Management of Severe Trauma (EMST) or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), or equivalent Western Australia Disaster Preparedness and Management Unit Major Incident Medical Managements and Support (MIMMS), advanced or team member training Experience working with minimal supervision in a multi-disciplinary environment Experience demonstrating initiative and flexibility in a high-pressure environment subject to change IV Cannulation Valid Manual Driver's Licence Desirable – Proficient in MS Office, telehealth, and other clinical solutions or management systems Proven experience in managing pharmaceutical/consumable stock levels Ability to work with digital health tools – electronic forms, phone consultations, video conferencing, etc.
