FIFO Mechanic from your home Capital City, Lift Equipt. Melbourne VIC. Automotive Trades (Trades & Services). Full time. $120,000 per year. 2:2 Even-time roster: FIFO positions are available with the flexibility to choose your Capital City within Australia. As a team member, you will be responsible for maintaining our fleet across the Pilbara in Western Australia and QLD, using your state-of-the-art service Vehicle. While travel may be required to meet client requirements, you will always have the support of our dedicated operations team.
Location: Karratha, Western Australia.
About You: To excel in this role, you need to be self-motivated, honest, and dedicated to delivering customer-focused field services across the Pilbara. Strong attention to detail and fault-finding skills are crucial in ensuring optimal conditions for our fleet and client's equipment with minimal downtime. Time management, pride in your work, and prioritizing safety are essential for success. You must also be comfortable following both our safety procedures and those of our clients and their operational sites.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Completion of a Light Vehicle Mechanic Trade Certificate or equivalent.
Ability to undergo pre-employment medical checks and ongoing Alcohol and Other Drug assessments.
Proficiency in computer use.
Well-equipped with a personal tool kit.
Valid WA C class driver's license.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in remote locations.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical fault-finding would greatly benefit you in this role.
Electronic engine control experience, specifically ECM and CAN-BUS.
Completion of a Heavy Diesel Mechanical Trade Certificate.
HR vehicle license.
HRWL with LF, WP.
