Due to unprecedented growth across the east coast remote sector, specifically throughout our Central QLD region, we are looking for experienced Health and Safety Advisors to take us into our next growth phase, as we mobilise our Anglo American villages in the Middlemount, Moranbah and Moura regions.
Working with well-regarded clients, the successful candidate will work a 2:2 roster, working 11 hour days.
Flights ex Brisbane, accommodation and meals included.
Locals are encouraged to apply on a drive-in, drive-out basis.
The Position Strong focus on Safety in Facilities Maintenance Services Understanding of safety for: Sewerage Treatment Plants Potable Water Treatment Plants Electrical and HVAC safety Building Safety Ability to manage Permit to Work systems The continual improvement of our safety management system Providing specialist safety advice and support to our operational teams Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements Driving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performance Conducting regular safety interactions Ensuring safety compliance and supporting investigations Completing incident investigations and reporting The Person Experience in Safety Advisory positions, having held responsibility for delivering overall HSEQ support Strong and decisive safety leadership skills with ability to engage stakeholders Experience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships, effectively bringing people along the site safety journey Highly developed skills in communication, presentations and reporting Certificate IV in WH&S The Benefits As a Team Member with Compass Group, you will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
