Working various swings as required from 1x week to 3x weeks at a time.Enjoy free on-site Gym access, swimming pools & recreational facilities.FIFO from Brisbane or DIDO from Central QLD.The Position Prepare buffet/bulk style cooking for Breakfast and Crib lunch, or Dinner and Desserts.Work within a team of Chefs, kitchen utilities & dining room employees to deliver exceptional quality and service to the village residents and visitors.Adhere to safe work practices and safe food handling procedures.Ensure all catering controls are in place & wastage is kept to a minimum.Offer guidance and support to the kitchen team where needed, to ensure a great experience for all diners.Enhance workplace culture – display high levels of customer service, contribute ideas and be flexible to meet the needs of the business.The Person Qualified Chef with a minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery or Equivalent.Bulk catering or buffet experience is essential.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Attention to detail and great time management is a must.Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations.Excellent knowledge of food safety and able to manage compliance.The Benefits: You will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
