If you're the go-to person, the one who answers the questions, with the know-how to keep facilities running like clockwork, we have several opportunities for Airport Ground Handlers to join our Operations team, working on a 2:1 (two weeks on, one week off) Fly-In-Fly-Out roster across Western Australia's remote sites.
When working at the aerodrome your role as an Airport Ground Handler may include the following duties:
Check in and boarding duties using multiple systemsRamp handling duties; positioning aircraft stairs, loading and unloading baggage, marshalling, receipt and dispatch proceduresOperating ground service equipment such as baggage tugs and belt loadersCommunicating via radio including monitoring and answering CTAFPreparing all relevant flight documents; manifests and load instruction reportsIn the downtime of Airport Operations, you may be required to assist with other tasks as needed.
