The role
We currently have an opportunity for a concrete field tester to join our NATA accredited team on a permanent full-time basis working in the Brisbane Metro area reporting to the Narangba Laboratory. This is a unique chance for you to expand your sampling and testing skills and gain practical hands-on experience. Working in the field predominantly with laboratory work when required, this position will see you gain exposure to the compliance testing of concrete. Your primary duties will include a broad range of field sampling, testing, equipment calibration and computer-based analysis.

This position requires a Monday to Friday roster with some out of hours and weekend work.
Responsibilities
Sample and test concrete materials in the field and the lab
Analyse and report accurate results
Adhere to procedures and work systems
Perform equipment calibration and basic maintenance
Ensure workplace health and safety standards are maintained
What you will need to succeed but not essential (Training provided for the right candidate)
Experience in a similar sampling and testing role
Experience with Main Roads testing standards
Desirable but not essential Certificate III in Laboratory Skills or Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques
Construction Industry White Card
Strong analytical thinking skills
