The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Field Technician to join our Networks team in Eagle Farm, QLD, on a Permanent Fulltime basis.
Reporting directly to the Supervisor Field Construction, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of field activities in relation to the construction and maintenance of the gas reticulation system, including high pressure steel, PE, nylon, and cast-iron piping.
Key Responsibilities
Operate specialised equipment, such as steel and PE hot tap and stopple machinery.
Construct and maintain steel and PE mains and services following APA standards.
Perform hazardous excavations and manage site safety.
Install and replace district regulator stations.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of compliance.
Drive service trucks and ensure adherence to road safety regulations.
Complete necessary documentation efficiently and effectively.
Your Background
Practical experience in mechanical piping and excavation work.
Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical equipment.
Ability to read and interpret maps and plans.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
