We are seeking a highly motivated Field Supervisor to oversee our construction work crews and ensure successful project delivery.
In this role, you will: Lead and coach a team of technical field employees, providing them with the tools and resources they need to excel. Oversee daily operations and ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Manage project schedules, costs, materials, and crew coordination. Foster positive working relationships with project managers, team members, and external stakeholders. Facilitate and support the training of all subcontractors, ensuring adherence to subcontractor compliance standards. Guarantee that all on-site tasks meet the requisite standards outlined in the pertinent Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) protocols, maintaining a consistently high level of quality. Identify and resolve project issues proactively. Maintain a strong understanding of network protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Prepare and submit clear and concise reports to Project Managers. To be successful, you will have: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the telecommunications construction industry. An unwavering commitment to safety practices. Extensive knowledge of civil and infrastructure builds and upgrades. Previous involvement in the NBN projects. (preferred) Knowledge of Multiple Dwelling Units or Strata network installation and augmentations. (preferred) Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. The ability to work independently, think critically, and make sound decisions under pressure. A "can-do" attitude and a focus on achieving results. Construction industry tickets (Construction Card, First Aid, CPR). Driver's license.
