Job Description The Field Quality and Safety Team is a dynamic team of Field SME Auditors, working remotely but collaboratively across 6 states in the NEM, providing audits, reporting, training and mentoring to ensure a high standard of safety, quality and compliance are maintained.
Your New Role The Field SME Auditor is accountable to complete field audits and training and mentoring of technicians to ensure a high standard of safety, quality and compliance are maintained.
The role will work closely with the business to ensure meter deployments, maintenance and fault rectification schedules are delivered safely to a high quality and are fully compliant in accordance with the relevant Intellihub and regulatory requirements.
Ensure that all safety, quality and compliance activities associated with metering installation and maintenance services are identified and effectively managed to reduce operational risk.
Appropriately action audit non-conformances, including investigations as required.
Autonomously complete field and desktop metering plan schedules within required timeframes.
Assist the State Operational Managers to maintain and seek to continually improve processes, procedures and systems relating to meter installation and maintenance.
Provide management reporting as required or defined from time to time.
Assist in the delivery of business results and performance KPIs around the key accountability areas of safety, staff and customer satisfaction.
Provide technical and issue resolution for complex metering configurations in order to meet the customer outcomes.
Qualifications Experience in complex metering and metering consolidation, LV CT and HV metering highly desirable.
Current Electrical license.
Current Driver's License and Australian Passport.
Meter installation auditing experience and or relevant qualification.
Strong safety focus.
Ability to manage project requirements as directed.
Detailed experience and understanding of metering practices, processes and procedures in electrical metering.
Understanding of Quality and Safety system requirements.
