You will be responsible for upholding quality standards and driving excellence in a dynamic environment.This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:Deliver our services by demonstrating an understanding of work health safety, quality and cyber security standards and applying them to relevant activities in the workplace.Ensure compliance through actively engaging with stakeholders and maintain awareness of relevant legislation, laws, regulations, standards, codes and AusNet policies and procedures.Undertake Audits on Safety, Quality, Environmental practices and influence positive outcomes through short and long term action.Engage broadly as a subject matter expert in network access, live work, high voltage switching and develop construction standards that are constructable, maintainable and incorporate safety in design.Lead trials and development of new apparatus and equipment.Provide expert guidance to Delivery Partners, Field Engineering, Asset Management, Lines Engineering and the wider business on standards and network access.Provide expert on-site technical and safety guidance, advice, supervision, and engineering support including advice for major fault occurrences, serious incidents, and project works.Lead work practice observations with regulators and delivery partners to achieve business outcomes.You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:Cert III in Distribution Overhead Construction or Network operational/technical experience.Auditing or a detailed appreciation of auditing. Lead Auditor in OHS/WHS Management Systems (an advantage).Safety qualification or a detailed appreciation of safety principles/practices.Extensive industry experience required.Investigation training – ICAM or equivalent methodology.Knowledge and understanding of Electricity Safety Rules, VESI Minimum rules for live work, VESI test and connect procedures, field work procedures, network access procedures and O H&S procedures.Knowledge and understanding of the standard installation manual (construction standards).Understand electrical access authority procedures and operational requirements.Understanding of contract management and supervision Applied experience with AusNet's Distribution and Transmission Networks and Systems.We believe in more than just competitive pay.
