Our leading technologies and our ability to apply them safely and effectively create value for our customers and shareholders.Partner with the bestAs a Field Specialist - Oilfield Chemical, you'll be providing field support to assigned projects. You'll assist in resolving problems and ensure our products help to perform and maintain efficiently during operations. You'll also be required to collaborate with other functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction is fulfilled accordingly.As a Field Specialist - Oilfield Chemical, you will be responsible for:Monitoring production chemical programs to assess the impact on production, integrity, and the environment.Performing optimization of production chemical programs.Undertaking hydrocarbon, water, and gas sampling for routine laboratory analysis following approved procedures.Maintaining laboratory & site application equipment and managing site inventories of production and laboratory chemicals.Assisting with the diagnosis and troubleshooting of production upsets and issues and undertaking chemical field trials as required.Liaising with field operational personnel to communicate daily tasks and progress status of longer-term activities.Work ExperienceFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have at least a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.Have ideally 2+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry or experience in a Commercial Laboratory; fresh graduates are welcome.Have a background understanding of the proper application of production chemicals in the Oil & Gas industry.Have an understanding of production processes and systems from downhole to pipeline distribution.Have proficient use of common Microsoft computer-based programs.Have the ability to work and communicate well with others.Have a good focus on all aspects of HSE.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too. In this role, we can offer:Normal office working hours (Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM).
