ABOUT THE ROLE
Weatherford is currently seeking for a full-time permanent TRS Field Specialist I - V. Depending on the level of knowledge & experience, the Field Specialist's role applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks or jobs for a variety of products and services.
Entry and intermediate level roles will receive direct supervision in support of their duties and assignments.
Senior and fully-qualified level roles will not only provide the direction to junior specialists but will also use their extensive knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and make recommendations to alter development and designs to improve the quality of products and procedures.
Familiarity with the variety of field concepts may result in senior roles supporting research but will certainly be used to plan assignments and accomplish goals.
Intermediate and Senior positions will act as the key interface with the client at the well site, carrying the duties and responsibilities for completing service assignments and managing other Weatherford personnel at the well site.

QUALITY
Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and taking an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System.
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of all policies & procedures.
Maintains service quality as an immediate priority.
Senior roles might participate in Annual Technical Audits as required.
OPERATIONS
Participates in all daily operations & safety meetings.
Maintains equipment, facilities and work area in a presentable and safe working condition.
Monitors and analyzes data to recommend services and solutions.
Performs job planning, preparation of tools & equipment, mobilization, job execution and submits all job-related data.
Available on 24 hours call basis to respond to customer needs.
Tests, operates & maintains tools & equipment as per work instructions.
Develops and maintains a positive relationship with clients.
Fully responsible for delivering superior Service Quality to the client.
Effectively manage inventory and supplies required at the well site.
Contributes to equipment failure investigations.
Oversees, leads and mentors Field Operation crew members where required.
Senior level roles may act as technical advisors to management.
Intermediate and Senior level roles will perform engineering checks while on client location.
Senior level Field Specialist will manage the installation of complex equipment and/or services in the field.
Performs other duties and activities safely as assigned by the supervisor.
COMMUNICATION
Reports all equipment failures to the R&M team through the appropriate system.
Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders.
Supervisors & Managers should communicate expectations, roles, and responsibilities to their reports.
PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT
Employees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the Company.
Employees should regularly engage with their line manager to discuss their performance and objectives.
Supervisors are expected to actively engage with their employees to support talent management.
Supervisors should collaborate with Human Resources & Technical Development to drive strategies for recruitment & retention.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED
Experience and Education
Technical Certificate from accredited Technical / Vocational School / High School Diploma + Experience.
Field Specialist I - 0 - 1 year in Oil & Gas experience.
Field Specialist II - 1 - 2 ½ years in Oil & Gas experience.
Field Specialist III - 2 ½ - 4 years in Oil & Gas experience.
Field Specialist IV - 4 - 6 years in Oil & Gas experience.
Field Specialist V - 6+ years in Oil & Gas experience.
Knowledge
Fundamentals of Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Pneumatics, and/or Hydraulics.
Mathematics.
Basic Physics and Chemistry.
Computer fundamentals.
Skills

Good reading and writing skills, strong judgment, and decision-making.

Abilities

MOBILISATION
Based in Malaga, Perth.
May Include Rotational and/or Shift Work.
May include varying weather conditions.

Salary packages start at $73,150AUD, inclusive of field bonuses.
