About the Role: Join dynamic NSW Field Operations Team, driving the forefront of radio telecommunications.
As a key member of this team, your role involves comprehensive technical expertise covering radio systems, equipment, and software.
You'll be responsible for field repairs, managing bench repairs for network equipment, and supporting various field services activities in the region.
We require minimum 5 years' experience within a telecommunications maintenance environment, including two-way radio and/or fixed wireless industries: What You Bring: Familiarity with industry-standard test equipment (Anritsu, Aeroflex, Com-120).
Expertise in antenna & combining, muxing equipment/PCM, and radio communications equipment repairs.
Proficiency in LTR and Simulcast networks, Microwave, and Point-to-point wireless broadband.
Strong computer literacy and IP skills for remote equipment configurations.
Excellent communication and people skills, dedicated to providing top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities: Execute works ensuring timely delivery and ongoing management of services.
Conduct Preventative Maintenance (PMI's) and audit against schedules.
Manage LMR and FWN Network spares, planned events, and network-related activities.
Provide technical support to field staff and contribute to continuous improvements.
Uphold safety standards and compliance with WHS practices.
Proactively maintain site conditions to a high standard.
Ensure strict adherence to customer SLAs through operational/technical support.
Qualifications and Certifications: Certificate 3/Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering/Communications or equivalent.
Cisco Certified Network Association qualification (advantageous).
Working at Heights (+11 M) and Fit to Climb requirements.
Valid driver's license Radiation Hazard Awareness, CPR + First Aid, Rigging Certificate, Constructions White Card Unrestricted Work Rights.
