Field Services Technician

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Electronics, Electrical or Instrumentation Technician or Engineer, ideally with previous field experience.

You are a suitably qualified team player who likes to get hands-on in the field, and the prospect of seeing many parts of Australia excites you.

Who are we?
The Sydney Observing Operations Hub is one of the Bureau of Meteorology's premier technical Operations centres.
Staff based at the Sydney Observing Operations Hub travel far and wide and into remote areas, utilising 4WDs, planes, boats and helicopters to maintain service delivery within the various instrumentation networks.

Responsibilities: Maintain communications, telemetry and instrumentation systems.Support service delivery in remote areas of NSW, Norfolk Island, and Lord Howe Island.Travel to other parts of Australia to support the national maintenance workforce.
