Based in the Wodonga area, you will report directly to the Field Service Supervisor.
This dynamic role offers the successful candidate the chance to grow and develop professionally while being an integral part of our larger service team in Melbourne.To be successful, you will need to demonstrate advanced diagnostic, technical, and communication skills as you will be responsible for booking work in, dealing directly with customers, and performing the required work on various sites and in our workshop.You will need to have a relevant trade qualification and experience in construction and earthmoving equipment.
Volvo Construction Equipment experience would be an advantage, but not strictly necessary.To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:High level of construction equipment technical knowledge and ability to carry out on-site servicing and repairs in the field.Carry out diagnosis and troubleshooting procedures relating to mechanical failures in a professional and timely manner.HV truck and forklift licence (or ability to obtain).Ability to work alone or as a team when required.Ensure all communications with customers are conducted in a manner reflecting respect and honesty.Ability to write reports and keep daily records from the field.Warranty procedures are followed at all times, failed parts are labelled correctly, and warranty reports are satisfactorily completed and submitted on time.Experience using computer-based service diagnostic programs and parts catalogs.Availability after hours and some weekends (if and when required – penalty rates apply).Well organized and self-motivated.A commitment to abide by all company and client HSE policies & procedures.We offer the successful applicant an attractive wage and great conditions, corporate discounts, personal field service vehicle, complete brand training, and uniforms.All whilst working for a company that is continually growing and offering exciting advancement opportunities to its employees.If this sounds like the opportunity you have been seeking, please submit your resume via the link below.
