We are looking for a Field Service Engineer based in Melbourne, to install, test, commission, service, and repair UPS products and systems for critical power applications to specifications and customer requirements.
We are looking for experienced technicians with UPS experience and exposure to the dynamic data centre industry.
The successful candidate will be a brand ambassador with a passion to deliver great customer service and experience.
Key Duties:Performing your duties with a high regard and awareness for safe working practices and compliance to EHS protocolsInstall and maintain critical power equipment and perform in-house and on-site repairs as required in accordance with service and maintenance agreementsLiaise with Project Management to carry out site inspection, commissioning, and testing of critical power systems including, creating, modifying of all documentation and reports for submissionProvide technical assistance/support and training to Technical Staff and Service Contractors and customers where requiredRespond to requests for emergency repairs and provide rostered standby support 24/7Perform FAT/SAT testing on units and prepare detailed reports on tests carried outEnsure on-time submission of reports Qualifications:Grade Electrician3 years' experience in a technical role servicing electrical or power electronics equipmentDiploma or degree qualification in electrical, electronics, mechatronics or Industrial AutomationIntermediate skills in MS Office and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP)Exceptional communication skillsProven experience writing reportsAbility to organize, prioritize, plan, follow up and work autonomously What We Offer:Free on-site parkingFlexible working arrangementsHybrid workingCompetitive salary with access to bonus schemeVolunteer daysOutstanding training and development programs for both professional and personal development We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
