Exhibit a sound technical knowledge and experience with American or European trucks – DAF, Kenworth, Mack Scania, or Volvo.
Experience in Western Star, MAN Trucks & Bus, Dennis Eagle, mtu, Detroit and Allison Transmission products would be highly advantageous.
Prior experience with electrical/electronic diagnostics, fault finding, modifications and the installation and commissioning of complete mechanical/electrical systems would be favourable.
A background in Power Generation , Energy Storage or Datacentre applications preferred, however training will be made available for the right candidate to help up-skill.
Easily work independently, and ability to build strong working relationships, both internally and externally.
Flexibility to respond to reasonable field mobilisations, planned activities and short notice mobilisations – as this may require to work remotely for extended periods of time.
An eye for detail with high quality field service and job reports.
A commitment to, and promotion of safe work practices.
Have effective communication and teamwork skills, and actively promote Penske's values and purpose.
