JOB DESCRIPTIONPRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Interface with relevant departments to obtain a thorough understanding of NOV products and how they are safely operated, tested, calibrated and problems are resolved in a timely manner. Travel to customer sites to inspect, install, commission, test, calibrate, repair and train customers on the safe and proper operation of NOV products. Remove and re-installation of mobile rig components. Repair of mobile rig components. Use hand tools and be able to correctly setup and operate applicable shop machines. Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments. Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner. Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. Operate lifting equipment/machinery relevant to movement of materials within Service process. Assure that results of work meet company quality standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Utilize safe work habits.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: 2-5 years experience in field service required. Pneumatic/ electrical/ hydraulic repair and troubleshooting experience required. Heavy equipment assembly experience, preferred. Stick/Mig welding operations. Oxy/acetylene cutting knowledge basic preferred.JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Ability to pass a drug screen & background check. Must have a valid driver's license & clean driving record. Must obtain NOV approved driver status and maintain active status. Overtime will be required - must be willing & able to work nights, weekend, and on-call 24/7. Travel to customers locations will be required at times. Work at any time - even during adverse weather conditions such as heat & cold outdoors. Must be able to kneel & crawl into tight areas as needed. Must be able to work at heights up to 120' feet as required. Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly. Must possess basic computer skills - email, filing of field reports, expenses. Strong communication skills with Supervisor and other team members. Able to work well in a team environment as well as self-directed when working independently. Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily. Lifting weights up to 50 lbs.
