Job DescriptionMaintain, service and repair TOMRA's pioneering reverse vending machine (RVM) installations and bulk processing equipment within the Western Melbourne area to ensure maximum uptime & customer satisfaction.

This role will focus on conveyors, sensors, motors, mobile comms and other equipment.
A qualified electrician/mechanical fitter with experience in either manufacturing or heavy industrial environments will be a good fit for the role.

Driving between locations is a large part of the role & so a clean driving record & love for being on the road is paramount.

This is a highly autonomous position that would suit someone who enjoys working individually.

What you'll be doing:

Servicing and maintaining installed equipment

Reporting on service assignments and faults

Installing kiosks and bulk processing equipment at new sites

Providing excellent customer service to our partners and members of the public

Analyse areas of potential improvement of products and report to local service team

Undertake cleaning of equipment

Qualifications

To be a successful Field Service Technician you will have:

Electrical Trade Certificate III OR Disconnect-Reconnect Certificate OR Mechanical Trade background OR Comparable experience on electrical equipment

Previous experience interacting face to face with customers

Very strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities, especially in relation to mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment

Experience in troubleshooting electronic equipment and be able to replace circuit boards, sensors and other electronic components of the RVM

Unrestricted driver's license and willing to submit a full driving history record

Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends
