Join Us and Make an Impact. We are seeking to develop an Automation Controls Technician to join our projects team, based out of Hobart, TAS.
Whether you are just starting out in your BMS/Building Technologies career, or have been established for many years, this role will provide a fantastic opportunity to explore your potential and develop your career working in a close-knit and experienced team, helping to deliver Honeywell projects across Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities: Interpretation of customer briefs and consultant specificationsControl system design and documentationPLC software and graphics development and system commissioningSales Assistance, involving innovative use of latest technology in establishing system design, and providing project estimatesPrepare submittals per engineering standards, ensuring commitment dates are met.
Review submittals with sales and delivery teams and lead team to obtain submittal approvalKey Experience & Capabilities: Electrical Trade Certificate preferredIntermediate to advanced computer skills desirablePrior experience in BMS/HVAC and/or Security/CCTV systems is preferredInvolvement in the commissioning of computer-based controls and security systems preferredGood communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-starting, able to work with a minimum of supervisionWho We Are The Future Is What We Make It at Honeywell.
