The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join a national industry leader.
Youll be working both onsite and in the workshop, providing essential support to customers by servicing, replacing, and repairing hydraulic hoses for heavy plant machinery.

Job Scope As a Field Service Technician, your day-to-day tasks will include: Attending service calls to customer sites, ensuring prompt arrival to deliver solutions.
Repairing, assembling, and installing hydraulic hoses, fittings, and industrial components for various machinery and equipment.
Operating and maintaining a fully equipped Mobile Service Unit (MSU) for fieldwork, ensuring tools and supplies are ready and organized.
Upselling additional services and parts where appropriate to meet client needs and boost sales.
Handling workshop-based tasks when needed, completing repairs and preparing equipment.
Utilising company software to update work orders, ensuring accurate record-keeping and maximising efficiency.
Participating in a rotating on-call roster, attending to after-hours callouts on a regular basis.
What We Are Looking For Hands-on experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or similar fields.
A trade qualification in mechanics or a related field (preferred but not essential).
A strong mechanical aptitude with experience in the assembly and repair of hoses or similar mechanical components.
Good customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with clients.
A valid drivers licence and willingness to obtain a Light or Medium Rigid Licence.
Flexibility to work overtime and participate in an on-call roster.
Previous experience with hydraulic hoses or plant machinery is beneficial but not essential.
Full training and development will be provided.
