We are seeking a Mechanical / Diesel Fitter or Tradesperson to join our Darwin Field Service Technician team, based out of our Winnellie branch. Here you will have an opportunity to build upon your existing skill set and learn about Air Compressors and Power Generators.

The Role: As a Field Service Technician, you will be the face of CAPS service, spending most of your time visiting our customers on-site, performing maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown assistance. Working on a large variety of Air Compressors and Power Generators throughout Darwin and the surrounding areas.
We accept a range of Trade Qualifications including all Mechanical and Electrical trades.
This is a growth position where you will have the opportunity to travel and learn about our extensive product range. CAPS have a high performing team of technical experts where we have the ability to train and develop applicants who demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude coupled with a high-performance attitude.
The gig: Regular maintenance and preventative servicing of compressed air systems and diesel-powered generators. Troubleshooting and fault finding on customer premises and equipment. You will have the opportunity to work on a large range of air compressors and power generators where every day is different. This position has the opportunity to service equipment on the Australian Navy site in Darwin. Because of this, the applicant must be an Australian Citizen to be allowed access. We can train and develop your technical knowledge to work expertly and independently on Air Compressors and Generators.
