Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our Equipment team in a nominated region. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance, and servicing of turf maintenance-related equipment.
Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance and RepairEffectively manage field service priorities and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Service Fleet ManagementEnsure the safety, cleanliness, and proper resourcing of service fleet vehicles.
Technical ExpertiseCoordinate and perform various mechanical tasks in repairing, maintaining, and servicing turf maintenance-related equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel and petrol engines.
Service Information ManagementEstablish and maintain relevant service-related information to support efficient service delivery.
Customer Training and SupportProvide product service training to clients as required to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Business DevelopmentBuild and maintain a customer base to promote the ongoing financial growth of the Service Centre.
Professional DevelopmentParticipate in regular internal product-based training to meet and exceed OEM service standards.
Requirements Technical SkillsAbility to work independently and in a team environment.
ExperienceExperience in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel and petrol engines.
Diagnostic and TroubleshootingAbility to use test and diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of mechanical or electrical problems.
Communication and Interpersonal SkillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish effective business relationships with internal and external customers.
QualificationsA valid Australian Motor Vehicle License.
