What You'll Be Doing Power Up: Perform a variety of low voltage electrical tasks up to 1000v on underground and surface Sandvik mobile equipment, focusing on maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis.Safety First: Champion our Site and SMC Safety and Environmental guidelines, ensuring a safe and eco-friendly work environment.Maintenance Mastery: Execute electrical maintenance duties as per detailed plans, maintaining the highest standards to ensure equipment integrity.Problem Solve: Use your skills in fault finding and repairs, leveraging electrical schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.Innovate and Improve: Provide valuable feedback to enhance maintenance planning, boosting efficiency and equipment reliability.Detail-Oriented: Keep meticulous records of parts usage, equipment monitoring, and time logs, including specific site records.About You To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Certificate III in Electrotechnology and at least 3+ years of post-trade experience.Proven experience in remote control testing and repair.Hands-on experience with surface and underground mining as well as heavy mobile equipment.A strong customer service attitude with the drive and determination to meet targets and goals.Basic knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems and the ability to read schematics.The ability to work underground and adapt to rostered shifts.A valid QLD electrical license.Experience with flameproof equipment installation and maintenance is a plus.Familiarity with Sandvik products will be highly beneficial.What We Offer Imagine working with a team that values your skills and rewards your hard work.
