We have an exciting opportunity for Field Service Technicians - Electricians to join our team.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will work in the field and onsite to provide complete preventative maintenance services, customer breakdown support, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs of Air Liquide Australia (ALA) owned or ALA serviced equipment.
The customer sites and equipment are concentrated around the Mackay, QLD region and surrounding area.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Duties include (but are not limited to):
Ensuring the equipment or process being attended to is safe and fit for purpose.Carrying out works on equipment or processes as required by management in a timely and efficient manner.Fault finding, diagnoses, formulation, and delivery of corrective actions whilst minimizing the need for rework.Maintaining company assets to help preserve service life.Escalating problems to engineers.Attending service calls and being available for "on-call" work as required.Executing work orders efficiently following the Maintenance scheduler plan.Are you a MATCH?To be successful, you will have: Trade qualification as a QLD licensed electrician.Forklift, Elevated Platform, and Confined Spaces Licenses (advantageous).Current and valid State Driver's License (MR class Drivers License advantageous).Strong safety mindset.Customer site service experience.Knowledge of control panels/control panel wiring.Experience with PLCs (Specifically Allen Bradley PLCs).Standard 11 - support will be provided if needed.Coal board medical - support will be provided if needed.Experience in fault finding, breakdowns, and maintenance work.Ability to read electrical drawings (SLDs and schematics).Be available for a 7-day on-call roster per month and willing to travel.Previous experience in the following will be highly regarded: Servicing rotating equipment or air compressors.Serving instrumentation or automated systems.Working with gas reticulation systems and pressure vessels.We offer: Retention bonus of $5,000 upon successful completion of probationary period.Meal allowance/per day while on the field.Lodging is paid for by the company while on the field.Fully maintained tool of trade vehicle with tolls and fuel covered.Overtime pay.Relocation allowance if required.Salary continuance insurance.Health and wellbeing initiatives.Retail discount programs with over 350 retailers.Long-term career development opportunities nationally and/or internationally across the Air Liquide Group.About Air LiquideA world leader in gases, technologies, and services for Industry and Health, Air Liquide is present in 78 countries with approximately 64,500 employees and serves more than 3.8 million customers and patients.
