Field Service Technician Diesel Fitter / Mechanic - Bendigo & surrounding areasYellow Iron Fleet is seeking multiple full-time trade qualified FIELD TECHNICIAN, FITTER / HEAVY DIESEL MECHANIC for its Bendigo Workshop. The role will be required to attend other sites in regional Victoria as required.Daily duties will include the maintenance and repair of a range of Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr construction and mining equipment.Reporting to the Workshop Manager, your duties will include:Completion of required preventative and breakdown maintenance on mobile fleet equipment and heavy machinery, along with diagnosing faults, defect capture and repairs.Accurate reporting of faults found and completion of maintenance records.Provide diagnostic fault finding on breakdowns.As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills:Be trade qualified with appropriate relevant experience.Manual HR license (not essential)Perform effective fault diagnosis on a variety of equipment.Minimum 2 years' experience in trade position servicing and maintaining diesel equipment.Possess the capacity and willingness to be "hands on".Carry out scheduled maintenance in a timely and effective manner.Have excellent organizational, communication and reporting skills.Demonstrate a sound awareness of OH&S management principles.In addition, the successful candidates will be fast learners, willing to work outside business hours and travel when required, have the ability to work unsupervised and possess an excellent commitment to safety.In return we offer you:An attractive hourly rate in line with your level of experienceA fun and experienced teamA career with a proven industry leaderYour application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a field service technician?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Which of the following forklift licences do you have?Have you worked in a role which requires fault finding experience?Do you have a heavy vehicle driver's licence?How many years' experience do you have as a Diesel Mechanic Fitter?
