Specific DutiesTo ensure Hexagon Mining technology solutions at client mine sites operate effectively and deliver tangible value to their mining operations.To provide training, instruction and advice to our customers on the effective use and operation of Hexagon Mining technology solutions.To repair, install, configure, commission and support electronic, microprocessor-based systems and radio communications equipment including issue identification and resolution for equipment based on our customer mine sites and on HxGN's premises.Major Areas of ResponsibilityDemonstrated customer service experience.Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing electronics systems.Demonstrated work experience in on site installation, system configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair.Background in industries such as electronics, radio, television, automotive, mining or similar.Substantial demonstrated experience in supporting, diagnosing and troubleshooting diverse and varied environments with a focus on electronic / electrical repairs.Year 12 Senior Certificate or equivalent.Trade certificate or equivalent in Electronics, Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation, Communications.Manual car drivers' licence.Skills and Experience RequiredKeen interest in providing a superior level of customer service and support to our clients.Willingness to learn new skills and be trained in Hexagon Mining's products.Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.Mechanical aptitude.Good computing skills (firmware and software loading and management, troubleshooting, administration tasks and email).Basic knowledge / understanding of LANs, WANs, working with Linux OS Command Line Interface (desirable).What's on offerPersonalized training and upskilling opportunities for both technical and soft skills, ensuring that you're always at the forefront of your field.The opportunity to work with a diverse, talented, multi-disciplinary team across the globe, gaining valuable skills and knowledge servicing some of the biggest names in the industry.International and domestic travel to a variety of locations for client services, giving you the opportunity to see the world while making a difference.Modern, well-appointed office space with a casual and friendly atmosphere that fosters collaboration and creativity.Social events, team building activities, morning teas, quiz nights, and more, fostering a sense of camaraderie and community.TravelAt Hexagon, we understand the value of firsthand experience, and we believe that travel is an essential part of providing exceptional service to our clients.
