Field Service Representative Industrial Gas TurbinesMTU Service Centre Australia was founded in April 2014 and is currently located in Canning Vale, Western Australia. MTU Australia has highly trained and skilled technical staff with GE LM - Products licenses, providing rapid response to client's maintenance needs, whether scheduled or unscheduled. In August 2020, MTU Australia successfully obtained ISO certification for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Since early 2023, the MTU Maintenance Service Centre has been an approved CASA Part 145 Maintenance organization.
Area of Responsibility: On-site assembly and disassembly of industrial gas turbines (LM2500, LM6000) mainly in Australia and occasionally in Southeast Asia.Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance work on package in accordance with the OEM documentation.Start up of package after repair according to the corrective maintenance measures.Remote monitoring, troubleshooting and diagnostics (borescope inspections) for the facilities to be maintained.Assessment of the asset performance.On-site technical customer support.Technical instruction and supervision of subcontractors.Documentation of results and composition of maintenance reports.Preparation and wrap-up of Field service events (organisation of business trip and logistics for spare parts, tools, etc.).Deputy to the Director regarding technical questions.Presales induction planning in consultation with the relevant specialist departments.Technical support for receivables management.Customer point-of-contact for technical queries.Technical support for completed jobs.Contact person for all MRT-team matters.Capacity planning, qualification planning, vacation planning.Internal order coordination / order placement.Ensuring compliance with customer requirements.Independent technical evaluation of different work scopes.Participation in the on-call service.Other work tasks - execution of tasks as certifying staff member, if necessary; taking on customer account manager responsibilities, if needed.Requirements: You must have the right to work in Australia.4 years general training as engine engineer.2 years specific shop training (level 2, 3, 4) on LM2500 and LM6000 in a LM-depot.Long-standing experience in the on-site maintenance and repair of LM2500/ LM6000 industrial gas turbines as well as package components.Long-standing experience in offshore maintenance and repair.Very good command of spoken and written English.Willingness to travel and to perform hands-on maintenance work.Confidence, competence and credibility in dealing with customers.Responsible, structured and focused approach to work.Capable to work independently and to improvise. #J-18808-Ljbffr
