Our purpose is to transition the world to a clean energy future.As Australia's only end-to-end provider of all renewable energy technologies, with proven experience integrating solar, wind, battery energy storage and green hydrogen into new and existing systems, we deliver industry firsts that are leading the clean energy transition.Job DescriptionThe RoleThrough our growth and expansion, we have an exciting role to join our Melbourne Field Service Team, driving in and out on 8 days working, 6 days off roster.As a Field Service Mechanic / Electrician, you will be responsible for performing general servicing and repair works in both a workshop-based environment and on-site in various locations including hydrogen and compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling sites. You will conduct regular checks, preventative maintenance, servicing and repair any faults or issues that may arise. In addition, you will be involved in record keeping, reporting, liaising with various stakeholders, being able to attend after hour callouts during roster days, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Your role will contribute to the continual improvement of internal processes and the overall success of the organisation.Key Responsibilities including but not limited to:Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems in both workshop based and site locations.Conduct regular checks and schedule services / maintenance on plant and equipment.Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.Repair and fix any faults or issues with plant and equipment.Maintain records through physical paperwork and online data entry as required.Report faults and issues into the online system.Assist in deliveries and collections where required.Ensure workshop and tool maintenance - ensure service box stock levels are maintained.Responsible for compliance with HSE policies, ensuring workplace compliance, and reporting hazard and near misses.Foster a workforce culture of safety, transparency, accountability, respect, and sustainability.On-call roster rotation.Regular housekeeping of workshop and vehicles as required.About YouField Service Mechanic (Mechanical qualifications) / Electrician (A Grade licence) (dual trade) with experience in energy, gas or automotive industries preferred but not a must.Experience with gas systems highly sought after.Hold a valid C class driver's licence.Ability to lift 25 kgs.Capable of standing up to 12 hours a day.Desired Skills and ExperienceAdditional benefits include:Salary continuance insurance.Employee Assistance Program (EAP), accessible to all employees and their families.Employee referral program.Rewards Gateway.Novated lease option.We are an Equal Opportunity EmployerAt Pacific Energy, we celebrate the richness and depth that diversity brings.
