The Opportunity
Our Toowoomba Branch has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Heavy Equipment Diesel Fitter to join our service department in a permanent full-time position.
This role will see you focus on all aspects of heavy diesel mechanics and mobile plant equipment fitting and will best suit someone who has a strong focus on diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for our valued customer base.
To be successful in this role, you will need:

Trade Qualifications: Minimum Certificate III in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
Safety Commitment: Proactive awareness and total assurance of Hitachi's number one priority
Experience & Skillset: Heavy diesel mechanics and field service fitters with demonstrated work experience and technical knowledge of construction equipment - Hitachi equipment experience highly regarded
Positive can-do attitude
Analytical thinking: Ability to navigate complex technical issues in repair and maintenance services with minimal to zero rework
Autonomous productivity: Initiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively, delivering quality outcomes to ensure total customer satisfaction
